This paper analyzes the causes of taper deformation of bearing outer ring after heat treatment in mesh belt quenching furnace, and according to the analysis results, the equipment is reformed to make the secondary mesh belt and oil tank of quenching tank run in the opposite direction, and good effect is achieved.


As we all know, there are many kinds of deformation of bearing rings in the process of heat treatment, such as scale increase or decrease, ellipse deformation, taper deformation and warpage deformation. These deformations will eventually reduce the accuracy of bearing rings in the grinding process, and even become waste products. Meanwhile, taper deformation is the main question that affects the quality of heat-treated products. Because the sealing groove of bearing ring is no longer processed after heat treatment, the taper deformation will form the seal groove with large size dispersion, which will lead to the temperature rise or grease leakage when the bearing is used seriously.
