1. Power failure
Power supply is the premise to maintain the normal operation of CNC machine tools, but also one of the common faults. Now most of the electronic systems of CNC machine tools are affected by current and voltage and other factors. When the power supply system is running, power supply problems often occur. Once an accident occurs in the production process, it is bound to affect the safety of the power supply operation, resulting in the electrical system crash fault, which makes the information in the database lost, and even the whole machine tool system paralyzed. In order to solve these problems, an independent distribution box should be set up to distinguish the system from other electrical systems when installing CNC machine tools. Three phase AC voltage stabilizing equipment should be set in some areas with poor power supply stability. The power supply should be well grounded, and there will be no leakage or series current problems during operation. If the design mode of three-phase five wire is selected, the neutral line and grounding should be set separately.
2. Short circuit fault
When the system is running, the two points of potential are not correctly connected directly with each other, or when the conductor with very small resistance is connected, the circuit without connection will be connected, which will reduce the resistance in the circuit and cause short circuit fault. Once there is a short circuit fault in the CNC machine tool system, it will make the operation control system program chaotic. If it can not be handled in time, it will even make the system out of control, so it must be stopped for maintenance. There are many reasons to cause short circuit fault, such as aging of component insulation, dampness damage and interlock failure of contactor or relay, which are mainly manifested as power short circuit and electrical short circuit. Among them, when the power supply is short circuited, the current will not flow through the electrical appliances, but will flow directly from the positive pole to the negative pole through the wire, which has great hidden danger to the safety of the power supply operation. The electrical short circuit is the short circuit of some circuits in the system. Connecting a wire at the two ends of the electrical equipment will cause the electrical equipment to be short circuited and the electrical appliances will be burned. For this kind of fault, we can detect and eliminate the fault by breaking the circuit in sections.
3. Controller failure
This kind of fault is mainly caused by electric shock, which affects the line contact effect. Especially for switch components, the load of switch used in the system should meet the operation requirements and reduce the number of relays. The more the number of relays used in CNC machine tool system, the higher the probability of its induced fault, and there are many hidden trouble which is not easy to detect, which is easy to cause electrical failure. Therefore, in the system design and installation, we must do a good job in the management of relays to ensure the rationality of its design, and in the later use process, we need to arrange professional and technical personnel to carry out comprehensive maintenance, create a good operating environment for the machine tool, and eliminate all kinds of hidden troubles. Through the inspection, the existing faults are found and handled in time.
