It is mainly composed of furnace body and control box. Box-type resistance furnace generally works under natural atmosphere conditions, mostly for internal heating work, the use of refractories and insulation materials as lining. Used for normalizing, annealing, quenching and other heat treatment of workpiece and other heating purposes. According to the different heating temperature is generally divided into three types, the temperature above 1000℃ is called high temperature box resistance furnace, the temperature between 600 and 1000℃ is called medium temperature box resistance furnace, the temperature below 600℃ is called low temperature box resistance furnace, in order to meet the needs of different heat treatment temperature.

Instructions for the use of box-type electric furnace

Install and use

1. No special installation is required for the electric furnace, which only needs to be placed flat on the indoor floor or on the platform. The controller shall be placed on the workbench and the tilt of the workbench shall not exceed 5 degrees. The minimum distance of the controller from the furnace shall not be less than 0.5 meters. The controller should not be placed on the electric furnace, so as not to affect the normal operation of the controller.

2. The load capacity of the power cord, switch and fuse connected with the controller and the furnace shall be slightly greater than the rated power of the furnace.

3. When wiring, first loosen the screws on the left and right sides of the controller housing, then turn the housing upside down and connect the power cord as shown in the figure. The connection line between the controller and the furnace and the thermocouple (using compensation wire). Insert the thermocouple into the furnace from the hole of the thermocouple fixing seat, plug the gap between the hole and the thermoelectricity with asbestos rope, and fix it. (Note: the phase of the power supply - not connected to the center line, for safe operation, the controller and the furnace must be reliably grounded).

4. check the wiring and correct electricity, first close the power switch, then the controller panel on the toggle switch to the open position, adjust the set button to set the temperature to the degree you need, if you set the switch to the measuring position, pull out a red light (NO), also has its share of contactor and sound absorption, electric power, the ammeter indicates the heating current value, the temperature inside the furnace temperature and slowly rising, that work.

When the temperature rises to the required temperature set, the red light will be off (NO) and the green light will be on (YES). The electric furnace will automatically cut off power and stop heating. Later, when the temperature in the furnace drops slightly, the green light goes off and the red light goes on, the electric furnace automatically energizes again. To achieve the purpose of automatic control of the furnace temperature.

5. in order to check whether the protection device is working normally, the method is: loosen one end of the thermocouple, then the temperature indicator rises to the highest point quickly and automatically cut off the heating power, then the device is good, reconnected to the thermocouple, can work normally.

6. oven, when the electric furnace in the second use or long - term use again, must be used oven. The process is as follows:

When the room temperature rises to 200℃ for 4 hours (open the furnace door to let the steam escape);

When 200℃ to 600℃ for 4 hours (close the furnace door);

When 600℃ to 800℃ for 2 hours (close furnace door).

7. After use, first unplug the button switch on the control panel to the off position, and then cut off the main power switch.
