Vacuum furnace
1. The vacuum atmosphere furnace is required to be protected through atmosphere in the whole process of heating, holding and cooling. It does not need to be protected after it is reduced to room temperature.
2, vacuum is mainly to protect the heat insulation layer inside the furnace, electrode, although it is not easy to oxidize at room temperature, but the moisture in the air, these accessories of the electric furnace will be damaged, so you can vacuum can also not pumping, as long as the furnace door is closed.
3. If vacuum is pumped during use, vacuum protection is generally required; Some insulation layers, such as carbon blankets, are oxidizable. Carbon blanket insulation needs to be vacuumed or vacuum-filled nitrogen can be placed after vacuuming.
4. If it is a vacuum furnace, it should be properly heated and vacuum protected under normal temperature when it is not used. The purpose is to protect the insulating material inside from moisture absorption.
5. If the heating element is silicon and molybdenum bar, it does not need vacuum protection, but if it is graphite heating element, it needs protection.
6. Normal temperature will not affect the heating element.
Based on these answers, we can see that when the vacuum atmosphere furnace is not in use, it is possible to pump or not pump vacuum, because the general heating elements will not oxidize at room temperature. But the refractories and insulation in the furnace absorb moisture from the air, so what we need to do is to protect it from moisture.
