The experimental atmosphere furnace is made of light refractories and heat insulation materials, such as high aluminum or aluminum silicate refractory fiber, and the fiber covering material is usually used in the layer near the furnace shell. It also helps to protect the furnace.


The function of atmospheric furnace lining is to protect furnace temperature and reduce heat loss. Good lining materials not only need a certain degree of fire resistance, fast heat and heat resistance, but also need less heat storage. The lining consists of refractory and heat insulation materials. The electric heating element is a kind of refractory material, and the heat insulation material is close to the shell.


Generally, the inner lining of high-temperature box type resistance furnace adopts three-layer heat insulation design, and the inner layer is made of refractory materials, such as polycrystalline mullite fiberboard, zirconium fiberboard, middle layer and outer layer. Insulating materials, high aluminum or standard ceramic fiberboard, felt, fiber blanket, etc.


In order to control the atmosphere in the furnace and maintain the pressure in the furnace, the working space in the furnace is always isolated from the outside air to avoid air leakage and inhalation. Therefore, the furnace shell, masonry, furnace door and all external connecting parts, such as fans, are necessary. In order to ensure the stability of the atmosphere, the atmospheric furnace can be divided into two types: muffle furnace and non muffle furnace. The flame of muffle furnace is outside the muffle furnace, and the workpiece is indirectly heated in the muffle furnace; the muffle furnace uses various kinds of flame. The radiant tube or electric radiant tube separates the flame or electric heating body from the furnace gas to avoid the stable atmosphere in the crushing furnace.


Explosion proof device of atmosphere furnace:

Reducing gas is mixed with air to achieve a certain mixing ratio, and it is easy to cause explosion at a certain temperature. Therefore, explosion-proof devices are provided for the front and rear chambers, quenching chamber and slow cooling chamber of the furnace, and explosion-proof measures are also required for the air supply and exhaust control system of the furnace.


Refractory for atmosphere furnace

Reducing gas is used in the atmosphere furnace. In order not to affect the service life of the masonry and destroy the atmosphere in the common furnace, the furnace body masonry needs to be made of anti carburizing refractory.
