Heat resistant materials for brazing furnace

1. Thermosetting resin

They can be used for a long time, such as silicone resin, polyimide resin and so on. In the vacuum brazing furnace heat-resistant material, this kind of material is the best. In general, the service temperature of epoxy resin can reach above 200 ℃, while other materials can be used for a long time above 300 ℃. Especially aldehyde phenol resin, which is a kind of high temperature resistant and ablation resistant material, is widely used in space shuttle.


2. Special engineering plastics

This material has high melting point, high thermal decomposition temperature, and high strength and stiffness. But because these materials are thermoplastic, the temperature used should not exceed their melting point. Therefore, if used for a long time, the temperature should not exceed 300 ℃.


3. Other materials

The United States has developed a kind of resin called polyarylacetylene, which can be used for a long time between - 100 and 500 ℃, and its performance has no obvious change. Its glass transition temperature is 316.3 ℃, the initial thermal decomposition temperature is 503 ℃, the maximum thermal decomposition temperature is 663 ℃, and the residual carbon rate is 84% at 900 ℃.
