The installation of thermocouple terminal is the step of using thermocouple. The correct installation can make the thermocouple work more efficient, and the measurement accuracy is more accurate, and the installation error may lead to the thermocouple measurement error, even lead to thermocouple damage.
Connection method of thermocouple:
In fact, thermocouple wiring is divided into two poles, i.e. positive and negative. If we observe, we can see the calibration on the wiring board.
The above calibrations are respectively +, -, but some manufacturers do not have a positive or negative distinction. In case of such a situation, we need to judge by experience:
1、 It is the color of the connection to distinguish. The green one is the positive pole and the gray one is the negative pole.
2、 Use a thermometer to measure it.
3、 Check the temperature after wiring.
4、 If it is suction, it can also be judged by magnet.
5、 The compensation wire needs the correct wiring as well as the positive and negative electrodes.
6、 When connecting the instrument, we should also pay attention to the positive and negative poles. Generally, there are marks on the terminals. If not, please refer to the manual.
When connecting the thermocouple, we should also pay attention to that the general terminal can not be used for the connection of the thermocouple, because the guide bar in the terminal is usually made of special copper material, such as electrolytic copper, which is different from the copper material of the thermocouple, and different from the general combined terminal block, which is provided in pairs.
The guide bars of each pair of thermocouple terminals are made of different metal materials. There are different terminals for different types of thermocouples.
The conductive material used in the thermocouple terminal should be completely consistent with that of the thermocouple, so as to ensure the accuracy of the thermocouple signal in the transmission process.
Industrial assembled thermocouple is usually used as a transmitter for measuring temperature, which is used together with display instrument, recording instrument and electronic regulator. It can directly measure the surface temperatures of liquids, vapors, gases and solids in the range of 0 ℃ to 1800 ℃.
