To improve the temperature uniformity of quenching furnace, the following aspects can be considered:
1. The burner should be arranged reasonably according to different heat treatment technology. Usually, multiple points on both sides can be selected and evenly staggered each other. At low incineration loads, temperature inhomogeneity becomes apparent, so more than two burners must be ensured to operate to improve uniformity.
2. The high speed burner should be used to make the burning product squirt out at a high speed (50-1OOM/s), which greatly enhances the convective heat transfer in the furnace, promotes the high speed recirculation of airflow, improves the uniformity of furnace temperature, improves the heating speed and saves energy.
3. The flue gas outlet should be placed in the middle of the furnace top, so that the high-temperature flue gas from the burner can be discharged to the flue gas outlet, and its travel in the furnace can be prolonged, so as to improve the uniformity of the furnace temperature.
4. The installation of a high-power circulating fan and the full use of waste gas heat in the furnace to enhance flue gas recirculation can obviously improve the uniformity of temperature in the furnace. The temperature difference in the furnace can be controlled at ~3-5℃ under the condition that the furnace body is well sealed and high-speed burner is used. Heat is recovered and heat transfer rate, production efficiency and thermal efficiency are improved.
5. Between the furnace body and the trolley should choose the mechanical or hydraulic lifting type movable mechanism, can be up and down; Sealing material with sand, aluminum silicate refractory fiber, water - cooled rubber, etc. The seal between the furnace body and the door chooses the flexible seal structure, which is pressed by the separate liquid, air pressure or mechanical equipment.
6. When there are multiple burners in the fast quenching furnace for heating, and there is a great difference between high temperature and low temperature, the timing sequence control of each burner switch can be used to replace the heating, which can improve the temperature uniformity.
7. Temperature uniformity can also be improved by adjusting the heating load of furnace by changing the frequency of burner pulse burning.
