In my opinion, there are four ways to reduce the electricity cost of heat treatment production:
(1) The backward heat treatment equipment with large power consumption shall be eliminated, and the advanced heat treatment equipment with small power consumption shall be adopted.
(2) On the premise of meeting the requirements of heat treatment process, shorten the heating and heat preservation time as much as possible, reduce unnecessary power consumption, and achieve the purpose of reducing power consumption; it is also very important to develop correct and reasonable heat treatment process, reduce operation errors, improve the qualification rate of one-time inspection, and reduce the heat treatment repair rate of products, which can reduce unnecessary power consumption, but also It is beneficial to ensure the heat treatment quality of products.
(3) Do well in the maintenance of heat treatment equipment, which can greatly reduce the failure rate of heat treatment equipment. When the heat treatment equipment, especially the parts in the heat treatment furnace are heating or heat preservation, breaks down, if it is necessary to shut down the furnace for cooling or it takes a long time to repair, then it will increase the consumption of electric energy, sometimes it will cause the parts to be repaired in batches, greatly increasing the consumption of electric energy. Although the failure of heat treatment furnace is inevitable, we can reduce the failure rate of heat treatment equipment and achieve the purpose of reducing power consumption by doing well in the maintenance of heat treatment equipment.
(4) Reasonably arrange heat treatment production, make full use of low-level electricity and reduce electricity consumption cost.
In most cases, a heat treatment workshop or a professional heat treatment plant will not replace the heat treatment equipment at will. Because the replacement of heat treatment equipment requires a lot of technical transformation funds, which requires the manufacturer to make overall planning and carry out in a planned way; only when the manufacturer thinks that the existing equipment is really old, high energy consumption and high failure rate, and at the same time has sufficient technical transformation fund support, can the replacement of heat treatment equipment with low energy consumption and advanced technology be considered; another possibility is that the manufacturer considers the need To further improve the output of heat treatment or the quality of heat treatment products. Therefore, as the managers and technologists of heat treatment workshop or professional heat treatment plant, they should do more works and think of ways to save energy and reduce power consumption.
