Iron oxide red dryer process


This automatic production line can produce more than 650 kg/hour. The whole process from filter cake with water content up to 35% at the beginning to automatic drying, baking powder, and finally automatic bagging of finished iron oxide powder takes less than 2 hours. In the past, it took at least three to four days to complete such a production cycle in the traditional "small workshop" mode. The core of the new technology is that the belt dryer directly replaces the small workshop process of the original back drying, thus reducing the traditional part of the drying room. While improving production efficiency, the new process also greatly improves the production environment, and the qualified rate of finished products is obviously improved, and the product color is more stable.

At the same time, because the whole set of equipment adopts closed operation and realizes automatic operation, the phenomenon of large amount of dust floating almost disappears. In addition, another benefit of the new drying process is a significant reduction in energy consumption. Steam consumption, one of the main energy sources used in the production process, has dropped from 1.51 tons per unit to 1.25 tons today, a decrease of up to 17%. The success of pigment comes from the long-term accumulation of innovation. The company has tried new blade and disc dryer and other innovative processes, and achieved good results. At the beginning of this year, they implemented a belt dryer for iron oxide red instead of the original drying process of the technical transformation of a success. Now the pigment is seriously collecting some of the technical parameters of the two improvements and preparing to expand the application of the results.
