Operating rules for plate frame oil filter

Plate and frame oil filter is a kind of mechanical equipment to filter solid impurities, moisture and improve oil properties. The plate and frame oil filter consists of filter bed, oil pump and coarse filter. The filter plate and the filter frame are lined with a filter paper or a filter cloth as the filter medium. The filter plate and the filter frame are fixed into a separate filter chamber by the pressure of the press device, and the filter paper or cloth pressed between the filter plate and the filter frame plays a filtering role. The plate and frame oil filter has the advantages of simple structure, easy operation and low operating cost.

Plate and frame filter oil machine is designed for the power plants, power stations, industrial and mining enterprises, oil storehouse, tractor station, the design such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, national defense unit, is mainly used to filter the transformer oil, turbine oil, engine oil, diesel, aviation hydraulic oil and other oil trace moisture and impurities, also can use stainless steel material for the vegetable oil filter.

Operating procedure for plate and frame oil filter machine

Before operation, carefully clip the filter paper with well punched holes between each filter plate and filter frame. The quantity of each layer of filter paper is usually 1-2 pieces, depending on the requirements of filtration and the quality of filter paper. When clamping the filter paper, do not offset the leakage and affect the filtration effect.

Filter paper should be dried before use at a drying temperature of about 120℃.

When using the used filter paper, the filter paper must be dried, and there should be no damage. Pay attention to the side with filter residue (dirty side) should be placed against the filter frame, not the filter plate, so as to avoid the filter residue being washed down during filtering and contaminating the filtered oil.

When the filter pressure is high and the filter paper is found to break, press cloth can be lined on one side of the filter plate to increase the filtering strength.

After the filter paper is put in place, turn the handwheel to press the filter plate tightly. When pressing the plate, only one person is allowed, and the press handle should not be lengthened for tightening, so as not to damage the machine.

Close the sampling nozzle and unscrew the valve if there is a valve in the drain line. Switch on the power of the motor, make the oil filter machine work, filter oil machine normal working pressure with the filter size of oil viscosity, and the resistance of the exhaust pipe, generally within the scope of 0.05 to 0.3 MPa, the lower initial pressure filtration, along with filtration time growth, increased the water content of filter cake and filter paper absorption and make the pressure gradually increased, to a certain extent (vary with the user requirements for oil) should change the filter paper.

In the process of oil filtration, the oil sample can be extracted by unscrewing the nozzle for sampling.

When the machine stops, open the inlet valve first, and stop the machine when the outlet pipe is oil-free. Close the inlet valve, stop the oil pump, loosen the pressing device, take out the filter paper piece by piece, clean the filter paper and filter residue in the filter frame, and replace the filter paper.
