1. In order to prevent thermal radiation, heat treatment box furnace wall should be added with insulation materials, such as asbestos, diatomite, slag wool, expanded perlite, etc.; baffle and door with circulating cooling water or air curtain screen should be used at furnace door.

The nozzles of gas and liquid fuel furnace should be arranged on the side wall of the furnace, not on the back wall of the furnace and opposite to the furnace door, so as to avoid the flame spraying out and burning the staff when the furnace door is opened. For manual ignition, spark ignition device should be used as far as possible.
3. The oil tank of the oil furnace is not allowed to be set on the top of the furnace, and the exhaust device and gas valve shall be set at the bifurcation of the pipeline system.
4. The gas pipe and flue of the furnace shall not be arranged in a cross way, in which a safety valve shall be installed to reduce the pressure in the pipeline in case of explosion.
5. The electric furnace must be well insulated.
6. Salt bath furnace can volatilize steam harmful to human health when heating, so it is necessary to set up an exhaust device.
7. Generally, all kinds of heat treatment furnaces should be equipped with automatic temperature control device, which not only meets the requirements of heat treatment process, but also is conducive to production and improvement of working conditions. There are many kinds of furnace temperature automatic control systems, which can be selected according to the furnace types and process requirements.
8. The door and cover of various heat treatment furnaces are generally equipped with interlocking devices. When the furnace door is opened, the furnace cover will be automatically cut off.
