The power supply used by the small lathe is mostly 380V, there are also 220V, generally divided into three kinds of belt speed change, gear change, stepless speed change. When turning, the chuck and the workpiece are rotating at high speed. The contact between the turning tool and the workpiece will produce iron filings. A slight negligence will lead to personal accidents. Therefore, safety is particularly important. Operators should have a comprehensive and firm grasp of lathe safety operating procedures and lathe maintenance and lubrication knowledge; Independent safety operation and maintenance of lathe; Having the knowledge of production safety and the habit of civilized production; Develop good professional ethics and strict labor discipline, dedication and love, bear hardships and stand hard work, and care for equipment.
(I) Safety knowledge of lathe and civilized production
1. Common sense of safety operation rules of lathe
In the use of the process always put safety in the first place, always strictly abide by the safety operating rules and regulations, to avoid personal accidents.
(1) before driving, check the lathe parts institutions are in good condition, the transmission controller, variable speed handle position is correct, in case of damage due to sudden crash while driving machine, after the start, should make the spindle idling 1 ~ 2 minutes at low speed, the oil spread to the need of more important (winter), such as lathe operating normally after to work.
(2) When the main shaft needs to change speed in work, it must stop first and then change speed. CVT lathes can be changed without stopping.
(3) Work clothes should be worn at work.
(4) Do not wear rings or other hand ornaments at work. Do not wear gloves while working.
(5) When working, the head should not be too close to the workpiece, and the protective lens must be worn when cutting at high speed.
Do not put your hands to the brake of the moving chuck. Use special hooks to remove chips. Do not remove chips directly by hand.
(7) Do not measure the workpiece when the lathe is turning, and do not touch the surface of the workpiece with your hand.
(8) After the workpiece is clamped, take off the chuck wrench and use the material support baffle when the rod material is stretched out to the back end of the spindle for too long.
(9) At the end of each working shift, the total power supply of the machine should be turned off.
2. Requirements for civilized production of lathe
Civilized production is an important part of factory management, which directly affects the quality of products, the service life of equipment and tools, clamps and measuring tools, and the performance of operation skills. The operator is required to:
(1) Keep the working environment clean, measuring tools, drawings and workpieces in order and in a reasonable position
(2) Do not use any accessories or machine tools without permission.
(3) Do not knock or correct the workpiece on the chuck and bed rail surface, and do not put the articles randomly on the bed surface.
(4) Do not run in the workshop, do not throw things, do not wash hands with cutting fluid.
(5) Do not lean on the machine tool when working.
(6) Replace the worn tool in time.
(7) Keep measuring tools clean, wipe them clean and oil them after use.
Civilized production is generally reflected in the following links:
(1) Start and stop according to the safe operation technical rules.
(2) Check the equipment condition before shift, maintain the equipment after shift and clean the environment.
(3) In the processing process of the machine speed, the correct use and placement of work, clamp, measuring tools.
(2) The lubrication and maintenance of small lathe operation technical rules
1. Lubrication of lathe
(1) Pouring oil lubrication: the guide surface of the bed, medium and small slide slides shall be lubricated with oil pot pouring oil once per shift.
(2) Oil splash lubrication: inside the gear box of the lathe and the spindle box, generally replaced once every three months.
(3) Oil rope lubrication: the lubrication in the feed box of the lathe leads the oil rope into the slot to the required lubrication parts.
(4) Ball oil cup lubrication: lathe tail seat, middle and small skateboard handle rotation bearings.
(5) Grease cup lubrication: the middle gear of the lathe hanging wheel box.
(6) Pay attention to check whether the oil quantity of each lubricating part is sufficient or leakage of oil.
2. Maintenance of lathes
(1) Clean lathe iron filings before coming off work;
(2) Clean the machine tool to keep all parts free of stains and all guide surfaces (large, medium and small) free of water marks;
(3) Each guide surface (large, medium and small) and tool rest with oil for rust prevention;
(4) Cleaning, measuring and clamping devices, clean back;
(5) Clean the site to ensure no chips or garbage under the machine tools and keep the working environment clean.
(6) At the end of each working shift, the total power supply of the machine should be turned off.
(7) Fill in the operation status of the machine tool (fill in the shift log book).
This operating procedure is also applicable to horizontal lathes and multi-functional machine tools.
