Vacuum annealing

Vacuum annealing: the process of annealing at a pressure below one atmosphere. A metal heat treatment process in which metal is slowly heated to a certain temperature in vacuum or in inert gas for sufficient time and then cooled at an appropriate rate (usually slow cooling, sometimes controlled cooling).


The purpose of vacuum annealing is to soften, improve plasticity and toughness, homogenize chemical composition, remove residual stress and obtain expected physical properties

It is suitable for stainless steel drawing parts such as water heating equipment, water expansion parts, pins, medical instruments, stainless steel nails, stainless steel screws, pressure riveting parts, stainless steel bearings, watch cases, watch bands, cutting tools, micro shafts, self tapping and self drilling, tableware and other stainless steel products for continuous bright annealing, solid solution, demagnetization and stainless steel quenching treatment under the control of protective atmosphere. After treatment, the surface of the product is bright and clean without oxidation and decarbonization. It has the advantages of high production efficiency, low energy consumption, less pollution, convenient operation and low labor intensity.


Vacuum annealing furnace type: internal heating type vacuum furnace and external heating type vacuum furnace. Internal heating type vacuum furnace is divided into horizontal vacuum annealing furnace and vertical vacuum annealing furnace, as well as single chamber vacuum annealing furnace, double chamber and three chamber vacuum annealing furnace.


Application of vacuum annealing:

2. Under the control of protective atmosphere, continuous bright annealing, solid solution and demagnetization can be carried out on stainless steel products, such as plumbing equipment, water expansion parts, pins, medical instruments, stainless steel nails, stainless steel screws, pressure riveting parts, stainless steel bearings, watch cases, watch bands, knives, micro shafts, Without decarburization and carburization, it can remove the phosphorous chip on the surface of the workpiece, and has the function of degreasing and degassing, so as to achieve the effect of surface bright purification.


3. Especially, the service life of tools, dies and precision coupling parts after vacuum heat treatment is much longer than that of general heat treatment. For example, the service life of some dies after vacuum heat treatment is 40-400% higher than that of the original salt bath treatment, while the life of many tools can be increased by about 3-4 times.
