Sludge filter press is a kind of mechanical force applied on the side of filter material to realize filtration. It is mainly used for solid-liquid separation of sludge (water). Sludge filter press is mainly used for dewatering industrial sludge such as papermaking, starch, alcohol and vitamin C engineering.
The water bearing sludge is transported to the sludge mixing tank by the sludge pump, and coagulant is added for full mixing reaction, and then flows into the belt type sludge pressure distributor. The sludge is evenly distributed on the gravity dewatering area. Under the bidirectional dredging and gravity action of the sludge rake, the free water of the sludge is rapidly removed with the movement of the dewatering filter belt. Due to the long design of gravity dewatering area, the maximum gravity dewatering can be achieved.
The overturned sludge enters the ultra long wedge-shaped pre pressure dewatering area, and the sludge discharged from the gravity area is slowly clamped to form a sandwich type angle layer. The residual free water in the sludge layer is reduced to a low level by sequential pre increasing and pressure filtration. With the slow advance of the upper and lower filter belts, the distance between the two filter belts is gradually reduced, and the sludge layer in the middle is gradually hardened The filter roller with large diameter for pressing and dewatering will remove a large amount of free water, so that the mud cake can enter the extrusion dehydration area smoothly and enter the "s" pressing section. In the "s" type pressing section, the sludge is sandwiched between the upper and lower filter cloth layers, and is repeatedly pressed by several press rollers. When the upper and lower filter belts pass through the wave path formed by the staggered rollers, the two filter belts can enter the "s" pressing section, As the upper and lower positions of the two filter belts are alternately arranged, the shear force will be generated on the sludge cake, and most of the water remaining in the sludge will be filtered out, and the sludge cake will be dehydrated again. The dry mud cake will be scraped off by scraper and transported to the sludge storage place by belt conveyor or shaftless screw conveyor.
