Principle of cooling tower:
The cooling principle of open cooling towers is that the circulating water is sprayed onto the filler of glass fiber by spray method, and then heat exchange is achieved through contact between water and air. Then, the fan circulate the air flow in the tower and bring out the hot gas flow after heat exchange with water, so as to achieve cooling.
This cooling mode has less investment in the first phase, but higher operating cost (water consumption and power consumption).
The cooling principle of closed cooling tower is that it is simply two cycles: one internal circulation and one external circulation. There is no packing and the main core part is copper tube surface cooler.
① Internal circulation: connect with the object equipment to form a closed circulation system (the circulating medium is soft water). Cooling is carried out for the object equipment, and the heat in the object equipment is carried out to the cooling unit.
② External circulation: in the cooling tower, the cooling water tower itself is cooled. It is not in contact with the internal circulating water, but only through the copper tube surface cooler in the cooling tower for heat exchange and heat dissipation. In this cooling mode, the operation of the motor is set according to the water temperature through automatic control.
Two cycles, in the case of high ambient temperature in spring and summer, two cycles need to run at the same time. The environment temperature is not high in autumn and winter, and only one internal circulation is needed in most cases.
