high temperature tube furnace for oxidation of samples processed reasons

High purity argon and nitrogen have been tested. Before use, vacuum pump was used for three times. No air leakage was detected with soapy water.

Generally, when using vacuum tube furnace to do sample oxidation experiment, there is no oxidation phenomenon, which may be caused by the following reasons.

1. The inert gas is not correct in composition, so it is suggested to use argon with 5% hydrogen.

2. Burying carbon while preparing for atmosphere protection;

3, the inert gas into the water and oxygen, plus the use of quartz tube, in the high temperature environment oxygen is easy to pass through, you can add sacrificial agent, to protect the sample;

4, the gas inlet is not pure, or vacuum atmosphere tube furnace vacuum degree is not enough

5. The sealing effect of tube furnace is not good
