The gas mesh belt furnace is a continuous furnace which uses metal mesh belt to transport materials in the furnace. The mesh belt furnace is commonly used for sintering copper-based material and iron-based material.
In the maintenance of the atmosphere mesh belt furnace, it is often found that the atmosphere pipeline of some resistance furnaces which have been used for many years are still very smooth, the furnace interior is very clean, and there are few cases of carbon deposition. The surface of the processed workpiece is smooth, while the mouth of some resistance furnace is easy to be blocked. The carbon black is connected between the shell of radiation tubes, and the processed workpieces are gray or colored Plaques. Based on the systematic analysis of various furnace types, we think that the reason is not only related to the location of circulating fan in furnace structure and daily maintenance, but also to the improper selection of atmosphere ratio and inlet position.
After the configuration of the control atmosphere in the atmosphere mesh belt furnace is determined, the pipeline installation is carried out, and the flowmeter is centrally installed on the control panel at the preheating chamber. The gas source flows through the flowmeter on the atmosphere control panel, and the flow rate is regulated by the flowmeter, and the main heater on the top of the furnace enters into the heating chamber. Oxygen probe is set at the top of the furnace to detect the carbon potential in the furnace, and the partition plate is set in each area of the heating chamber to enhance the partition effect of atmosphere.
The gas mesh belt furnace has the following characteristics:
1. Due to the stable operation of the metal mesh belt in the furnace, the powder metallurgy briquette placed on the mesh belt can be continuously and stably sintered, and the product quality is stable.
2. As the mesh belt is limited by the heat load capacity, it has a production capacity below medium level.
3. Since the briquette is directly placed on the mesh belt, the heating condition of the briquette is good.
4. The loading box and discharge box used in sintering furnace are reduced, and the degree of automation is improved.
The metal mesh belt is often damaged due to the influence of high temperature atmosphere in the furnace. The main causes of damage are elongation, bending, poor track, deformation and pollution. Pollution and deformation can not be overcome by the mesh belt itself, and the elongation, bending and motion track of the mesh belt are its own characteristics, which can be improved by design.
