How is the pit type furnace operated and what should be paid attention to during operation

In addition to checking whether the circulating cooling water, bottom stirring fan, atmosphere pressure, furnace seal and thermocouple are normal during the operation of the pit type furnace, carbon removal should be carried out in the methanol cracking furnace and methanol cracking gas pipeline in a timely manner. In the use and maintenance, should timely check the seal of the furnace body and the lubrication of mechanical transmission parts of equipment, control the quantity of materials into the furnace, ensure the pit type furnace process stability.

Special attention shall be paid during operation:

(1) Exhaust all the air falling into the methanol cracking furnace pipeline before starting;

(2) Methanol is harmful to human body and the environment, so storage and transportation pipelines should avoid leakage;

(3) CO and H in the furnace gas waste gas, flammable, explosive, toxic, should be fully burned in the furnace mouth;

(4) Check whether the circulating cooling water, hearth stirring fan, atmosphere pressure, furnace seal and thermocouple are normal. After continuous use, carbon black may be generated in the methanol cracking furnace, which is scattered in the furnace reactor, and the carbon must be removed once in each furnace.

Not removing all the charcoal in the furnace will result in:

(1) The thermocouple's temperature measurement is incorrect due to carbon deposition, so that the temperature of the heating element is too high, causing damage to the heating element;

(2) Methanol is not completely cracked and the atmosphere is less, which affects the process quality. Furnace carbon removal process: close the methanol human furnace main valve, close the methanol flowmeter outlet ball valve, open the upper ball valve and use small steel bar or compressed air to discharge the carbon accumulation from the lower ball valve outlet. If there is serious carbon accumulation in the furnace reactor, the reactor must be opened and cleaned inside. After being used for a period of time, there may be carbon black and other sundries in the methanol cracking gas pipeline, and the carbon must be removed regularly according to the situation. The method is to open the cover of the annealing furnace and close the methanol cracking gas, so that the methanol cracking gas pipeline is not connected to the methanol cracking furnace, open the compressed air, and blow out the sundries in the methanol cracking gas pipeline until there is no black smoke coming out of the annealing furnace. Other pipes such as the analyzer inlet can also be treated with compressed air. In case of leakage, use soapy water for leak detection.

Pit type furnace in the use of maintenance process, furnace seal and mechanical transmission parts lubrication maintenance, periodic adjustment of the belt on the use of a great impact, therefore, each furnace must adhere to the inspection, so as not to cause excessive wear equipment damage. In the process of operation, controlling the amount of material entering the furnace, avoiding overload use, properly cleaning the carbon accumulation in the cracking furnace and regularly cleaning the pipeline of protecting atmosphere in the pit type furnace are important factors to ensure the long-term stability of the pit type furnace process.
