In general structure, it is equipped with a steel outlet box protruding the furnace shell on the side of the original outlet steel to replace the original outlet steel trough. Refractory materials are laid inside the steel box to form a small melting pool, which is connected with the large melting pool at the bottom of the original furnace and smooth transition. The outlet is opened vertically at the bottom of the small molten pool in the outlet box. The upper part of the steel box is provided with a water-cooled cover plate (with an operating hole) to close the small melting pool and clean and maintain the steel outlet. The steel outlet is double-layer structure, the outer layer is square block brick, the inner layer is sleeve brick, and the layer between layer is filled with magnesia refractory material, so as to facilitate the replacement of sleeve brick. The opening and closing of the outlet can be accomplished by the swinging cover plate. The tail brick is cooled with water. The cover and tail brick are made of graphite to protect the furnace from high temperature deformation.
