Paddle Dryer Description:
Hollow paddle drying equipment is suitable for drying or cooling the paste, granule, powder and slurry of materials. It can be used for drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, reaction and combustion at low temperature. Special mixing heating transfer blade, high heat transfer efficiency, with self-cleaning function. The special wedge-shaped stirring heat transfer blade has high heating efficiency and self-cleaning function of heat transfer surface.
Paddle Dryer Working principle:
The hollow wedge blade is concentrated on the hollow shaft. The hot medium flows through the blade from the hollow shaft. The heat transfer area in the effective volume is very high. The temperature range of the heating medium is - 40 ° C to 320 ° C. It can be steam or liquid, such as steam, heat transfer oil, etc. When indirectly heated, the air does not produce heat. Except for the loss of insulation, all heat is used to dry the material. The surface of wedge blade has self-cleaning function. The relative movement of the product particles to the wedge surface may clean the material attached to the wedge surface, thus maintaining the cleanliness of the heat transfer surface during operation. The shell of the hollow blade dryer is Ω shaped. The housing is usually equipped with 2 or 4 hollow mixing shafts. To avoid material leakage, the terminal cover and the top cover are sealed together with the housing. The heat transfer medium flows through the rotating connector, the sheath shell and the hollow mixing shaft. In order to ensure the best transfer effect, the hollow stirring shaft adopts different internal structure according to different heating medium.
Paddle Dryer Features :
1. Low cost of blade dryer: large heat transfer area per unit effective volume, shortened processing time and reduced equipment size. The building area and location decreased dramatically.
2. The range of materials to be processed is very wide: heat sensitive materials and materials to be processed at high temperature may use different heating media for processing. Common media: steam, heat transfer oil, hot water and cold water. It can be continuous or batch operation and is widely used in many fields.
3. Less pollution: there is almost no dust without carrier gas. The evaporated solvent is very small and easy to handle. For materials that may contaminate or recycle solvents, a sealed cycle may be used.
4. Low operation cost: 1 hour per day. The operator is adequate for normal operation. Low mixing speed, reasonable structure, less wear and maintenance cost.
5. Stable operation: due to the special compression and expansion of the wedge-shaped blade, the material particles completely contact the heat transfer surface. In different axial areas, the difference of temperature, humidity and mixing effect is very small, thus ensuring the stability of the process.
